Determined to stop a CSG mine in Sydney Park, director Anna Broinowski
travels to North Korea to meet the masters of propaganda cinema.
In a world first, the North Korean filmmakers agree to help Anna to
make a propaganda film to stop gas fracking.  Features actors
Peter O’Brien and Susan Prior, anti-CSG campaigners Brian Monk,
Jacinta Green and others, Aim High in Creation! uses a shared love
of the environment to forge an astonishing new bond between North Korea’s
hidden filmmakers, and the Free World.

Selected from over 400 films by the world’s most prestigious documentary
film festival IDFA (Amsterdam), as the film “which highlighted and raised
awareness of the environmental issues in the most unique and entertaining way”.  

The Q & A with Anna Broinowski will be moderated by Ruth Hessey for Ozdox.

Ruth Hessey is a filmmaker, with one award winning short documentary
behind her and two feature docos in development. She has a BA majoring
in film and theatre from UNSW, spent many years on the stage, got into
full time journalism at SMH where she became a high profile film and
features writer,travelled all over the world, and migrated into environment
advocacy as a means of helping the planet while finishing various novels
and screenplays. She believes her most exciting creative work is in front
of her, and is constantly inspired by the amazing filmmakers and artists
she meets.
