Trailers have a powerful impact on the marketability of a film and pitch reels have never been more important, with funding bodies and broadcasters requiring them as proof of concept. What are funding bodies, financiers, commissioners and sales agents looking for? What are the key elements of a good trailer or pitch reel? What are the important structural and technical aspects of editing trailers? How should a pitch reel showcase your project? How are social impact trailers important to documentary?

Join us for this OzDox Masterclass by Danny Lachevre (FanForce) and discussion by the expert panel – Bernadine Lim (Screen Australia), Susie Jones (SBS), and Simon de Bruyn (XYZ Films).
