Following on from the success of Best of INPUT last year, the Australian Directors Guild – in partnership with the Australian Film, Television & Radio School is pleased to announce the return of the ‘Best of INPUT’ 2010.

INPUT is an annual event for commissioning editors from the international public television networks and for the film and television makers from around the world. ‘Best of INPUT’ is a highlights package from the INPUT television conference in Hungary earlier this year.

This years program includes the Academy Award nominated documentary RABBIT A LA BERLIN, the ground breaking web documentary PRISON VALLEY commissioned by ARTE, the darkly comic RECEPIE FOR A KILLING from the France 2 drama series ‘Suite Noire’, and a session focusing on actors writing comedy and featuring 3 TV comedies from around the world. The programs’ directors, producers, and commissioning editors will all attend ‘Best of INPUT’ by video conferencing to discuss their programs after each screening.

INPUT is also pleased to announce a special Friday on My Mind event, hosted by Rachel Turk who will present,  ‘The Child, the Death & the Truth.’

There will also be opportunities for selected registrants to meet one on one with some of the international guests to discuss their programs.

The 2010 program for ‘Best of INPUT’ will be a mixture of drama, documentary and TV specific programming, as well as several new media projects.
